Cookie Policy

Cookies are small key-value pairs that a website can store in your browser to remember state across navigations and visits. For this policy we also cover equivalent browser storage mechanisms such as localStorage, since they serve the same function from a privacy perspective.

Luceris Cloud writes only strictly-necessary cookies by default. The one exception is a functional preference you set yourself — your dashboard light/dark theme choice — which is written only at the moment you change it and is exempt from consent for that reason. If we ever introduce analytics or marketing cookies, or functional storage you did not ask for, the cookie banner re-prompts you so you can make a fresh choice before anything is written.

Strictly necessary

Required for the Service to function — they cannot be turned off.

• lc_access_token (localStorage) — stores the short-lived token that identifies you to the API so you stay signed in while you browse.
• refresh_token (cookie, set by api.luceriscloud.com) — renews your session so you are not asked to sign in again every few minutes. It is HttpOnly, Secure and SameSite=Strict, so page scripts cannot read it.
• dbsession (cookie, set by api.luceriscloud.com) — identifies the database you have unlocked in the SQL workbench, for the length of that unlock session. Also HttpOnly, Secure and SameSite=Strict.
• lc_current_org_id (localStorage) — remembers which organization you last had active.
• cookie-consent-v1 (localStorage) — records your cookie-consent choice so we don’t ask again.

Functional

Preferences you set yourself. They persist until you clear your browser storage.

• luceris-theme-v1 (localStorage) — remembers your dashboard light/dark theme choice.

Analytics

We don’t load analytics today. If we do, your choice in the consent banner applies before anything writes.

Marketing

We don’t run marketing trackers and do not currently plan to.

We do not intentionally set third-party cookies. Where we embed third-party content (e.g., the docs subdomain), that content may set its own cookies governed by the third party’s own privacy policy.

On your first visit, the cookie banner offers Reject all, Customize, and Accept all choices. Your decision is stored on your device under cookie-consent-v1. To revisit it later, click the Cookie preferences link in the site footer or visit any URL with the hash #manage-cookies.

You can clear cookies and site data directly from your browser. In Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data. In Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data. In Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data. Clearing cookies and site data for Luceris will sign you out — note that your session is only fully ended once the cookies are cleared too, since the renewal cookie alone is enough to restore it.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. When changes are material, we will notify you by email or through an in-product notice before they take effect.
